Today, September 21, Master of Horror Fiction Stephen King celebrates his 72nd birthday. Retirement seems out of the question, thank Goodness.
King’s penchant for the macabre has penetrated our psyches ever since forlorn teen “Carrie” was persecuted by her peers. We just can’t seem to get enough -- maybe because we can empathize with his protagonists.
