Shakespurr's March Literacy Tip

There’s nothing wrong with repetition when it comes to learning how to read!

Find out why in this March literacy tip provided by Tracey Jipson, youth services library specialist at MidPointe’s West Chester location, and MidPointe mascot Shakespurr:

“It’s OK to read a favorite book with your child over and over! Repeating a story helps develop your child’s language skills and enhance his or her memory. Hearing a book over and over again helps your child become familiar with words and establish speech patterns.”

So read and repeat!
Read and repeat!

Then read and repeat -- again!
