Each Thursday during February MidPointe Library will present historical information about people, places and things related to the local African American community.

Stop by MidPointe Library Middletown to view our new 70-inch interactive big screen that now displays the African American History Timeline of significant events and achievements in African American history in Middletown, the state of Ohio and the United States.
The African American History Timeline was originally created by the Middletown African American Heritage and Cultural Center and designed by local resident Sam Ashworth. It was made possible by a generous grant from the Middletown Community Foundation and in cooperation with the Middletown Historical Society.
