Kids Get the Chance to Code with MidPointe

Today’s kids are not just savvy computer operators. They’re actually learning how to create computer programs using special languages known as “code.”With the right code kids can instruct their computer screens what to display -- whether it’s a new website, a game, even an online pet! They can also learn to make apps for the iPhone and iPad!With titles like “Understanding coding with Scratch,” “Python for kids,” “Coding with Blockly,” and “Coding iPhone apps for kids--a playful introduction to Swift,”  MidPointe Library is ready to help guide young  programmers into the their cyber futures. In “Technology -- cool women who code,” kids meet three women who played a major role in the field.MidPointe locations also host coding programs for children.
